Fortune Merlion
User Guide

Each Fortune Merlion is crafted in distinct editions and designs. Please refer to your specific edition below for instructions on accessing the battery compartment and power switch.

Type A – Slider Box Design

Gently push and slide the Fortune Merlion outward off its pedestal to reveal the battery compartment and switch.

 

Applicable for the following editions:

  • The Musang King Fortune Merlion

  • The Fortune Merlion Dance (Red/Pink)

Type B – Lift-Up Design

Carefully lift the Fortune Merlion off its pedestal to access the battery compartment and switch.

 

Applicable for the following editions:

  • The New Classic Clear Bubble Fortune Merlion Edition

  • The Bronze Fortune Merlion

  • The PrismLion Fortune Merlion

Type C – Removable Base Plate Design

Remove the base plate located at the underside of the pedestal to access the battery compartment and switch (refer to diagram).

 

Applicable for the following edition:

  • The Fortune Merlion Dance Ultra-Rare Stone Edition

Returns & Exchange Policy

As each art toy is delicately hand-crafted, we recommend taking a moment to inspect your piece before leaving the store. Once it has left our premises, we’re unable to offer refunds or exchanges for defects.

Troubleshooting Tips

1. The arm on the Fortune Merlion has stopped moving

Ensure the switch is turned on, and replace the batteries
if the current ones are depleted. Always remove any old batteries
to prevent battery leakage during periods of non-use.


2. I have put in new batteries and switched it on
but the arm is still not moving

For optimal movement, place the Fortune Merlion upright
on a level surface. Simply give the arm a gentle nudge to 
set its mechanical swing in motion.


3. Is it normal to have a "ticking" sound
coming out from the Fortune Merlion?

The sound you hear is the gentle ticking of the internal
pendulum mechanism in motion, working as intended.


4. The magnet from the accessory has become detached

Secure the magnet back in place with super glue or
UHU adhesive. Let it rest for about 15 minutes to fully
set before use.


5. I have accidentally damaged a part, 
are repairs or replacements available?

Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our 1/1 Artist Edition, 
repair or replacement are not offered. For regular 3D-printed
pieces, please contact us at uniplay@unigons.com with images
and details of the damage. We will review and advise on the
possible solutions. Repair and replacement fees may apply.
